Faiq hails Punjab govt over announcement to eliminate interest-based economic system

Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah praised the Punjab government for announcement regarding elimination of interest-based economic system on eve of Independence Day, demanded to ensure its practical implementation. In a statement issued here on Sunday, Faiq highly welcomed the announcement of elimination of the interest-based economic system by Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi.
The ATP chief termed it is the best system for bringing economic justice, development and prosperity. He asked the government of Punjab to implement its decision with true letter and spirit.
He noted the world, even the people of the West, are trying to bring this system.
We, despite having an economic system, could not take practical steps, which is highly unfortunate, says Shah.
The ATP chairman said the announcement on Independence Day by the Government of Punjab is a major step.
He reiterated firm resolve that his party is to give a complete sketch of the economic system.
“We will provide full support to the Chief Minister or the government,”
Shah linked the blessing and prosperity in the society with economic justice.
He went on to say that economic justice is attached with the interest-free economy and it’s a natural system.
He made it clear that progress was impossible until growth in export, investment and trade.
Faiq said his party has already prepared its complete plan.
He remarked that the foundations of Pakistan will be stabilized with the introduction of the interest-free economic system, so that no one can stop us from becoming an economic superpower.
Earlier, Faiq Shah felicitated the whole nation on the eve of 75th Independence Day.
He said ATP have a comprehensive strategy and workable plan to make country an economic and defence super power through which mission of the father of the nation, Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the thinker of Pakistan, and national poet Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal would be accomplished.
