A farewell ceremony was organized by National Highways and Motorways Police in the honour of Additional Inspector General Sajjad Afzal Afridi at Central Police Office, NHMP, Islamabad. Sajjad Afzal Afridi is retiring from the National Highways and Motorways Police after completing his service as Additional Inspector General of Police.
During his service, he has served in various positions in the National Highways and Motorways Police. The farewell ceremony was attended by Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed, Federal Secretary for Communications Zafar Hasan, Chairman NHA Capt (R) Muhammad Khurram Agha, Inspector General, NHMP, Inam Ghani, Additional Inspectors General, DIsG and AIsG and other senior officers.
In farewell ceremony, Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed paid great tribute to the services of Additional Inspector General Sajjad Afzal Afridi and said that National Highways and Motorways Police is the institution of Pakistan which is loved by whole Nation.
Federal Secretary Communications Zafar Hasan and Chairman NHA Khurram Agha also paid tribute to the services of Additional Inspector General Sajjad Afzal Afridi and said that National Highways and Motorways Police is performing the duties with full devotion and dedication.
On the occasion, IG, Inam Ghani while paying tribute to the services of Additional Inspector General Sajjad Afzal Afridi said that under the supervision of Sajjad Afzal Afridi the National Highways and Motorways Police achieved many milestones.
At the end, Additional Inspector General Sajjad Afzal Afridi thanked IG Inam Ghani and the officers for organizing marvelous farewell party. He said that today I am retiring from police service with lots of good memories. He further said that Motorway Police is highly respectful and is an institution of national unity. IG, Inam Ghani is very dynamic and professional Police officer. At the end of the ceremony, Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed presented souvenir to Sajjad Afzal Afridi.
