Fawad for in time completion of Jalalpur canal project

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has issued directives for timely completion of Jalalpur Irrigation Canal project. The minister on Sunday visited the site of Jalalpur Irrigation Canal Phase III Project in Jhelum district. He was given a briefing on the progress of ongoing work on the project.
The Jalalpur Irrigation Canal project would irrigate about 1.5 million acres of land in the area. The project would also provide clean drinking water to the people.Fawad also laid the foundation stone of Trauma Centre at Tobah, Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan.
The trauma centre is being set up on 11 kanals of land at Tobah Primary Health Centre and the project would cost Rs310 million. In case of accidents, the injured would be provided immediate medical aid as well as basic medical facilities. The Trauma Centre would be a two-storey building with the services of neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons and general surgeons. A large number of people from the constituency NA-67 were present on the occasion.

Earlier, the minister received a warm welcome on his arrival at Lillah Interchange. The people of the constituency gave a warm welcome to Chaudhry Fawad and showered him with flower petals and chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The people of the constituency thanked him for laying the foundation stone of Lillah to Jhelum dual carriageway project. TLTP
