PESHAWAR
Awami National Party (ANP) provincial general secretary and parliamentary leader Sardar Hussain Babak has said that the central government should take immediate and practical steps to curb inflation.
He said that Inflation was a gift of Imran Khan’s government, which has made life difficult for the people.
The previous government had robbed the rights of Pakhtunkhwa (KP),adding that the new national government should not deprive Pakhtunkhwa of its financial share and administrative authority.
ANP parliamentary leader said that Imran Khan’s government has forced the people of Pakhtunkhwa to go on hunger strike.
The province’s own electricity has been kept out of reach of the people due to high prices and as a result, thousands of factories have closed and thousands of families have lost their jobs.
For three-and-a-half years, there was a PTI government at the center, he added.
The development package announced for the merged districts could not be implemented, he added that KP province suffered the most in opposition to the 18th Amendment.
The PTI has not been able to legislate for the transfer of power in the province under the 18th Amendment in the last eight and a half years. Sardar Babik accused Imran Khan being the enemy of 18th amendment and that was why the country and especially the province has been pushed into economic crisis.
What constitutional powers have been assigned to him? The captain’s government has plunged universities and higher education commissions in the province into financial crisis.
He said that Imran Khan had also robbed the administrative powers of KP.
