FGCTA Elects new Leadership

ISLAMABAD
The Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) elected its new elected central body. Dr. Fida Ul Mustafa, the chief election commissioner of the association officially declared the results during a ceremony held at Islamabad Model Postgraduate College H-8.
The newly elected leadership is set to take charge of the association, with Mr. Muhammad Akram, Associate Professor at H-8 College, elected as the President of FGCTA. Ms. Ayesha Kiran, Lecturer at F-7/2 College, will serve as the Senior Vice President, while Ms. Bushra Kauser, Assistant Professor at G-10/4 College, has been elected as the Vice President.
Moreover, Mr. Tahir Bhutti, Assistant Professor at H-9 College, has been elected as the General Secretary, Mr. Danish Yaseen Lecturer at H-8 College was elected as the Joint Secretary, while Mr. Zubairuddin, Assistant Professor at F-10/4 College, took the position of Finance Secretary. Furthermore, Ms. Sobia Masood, Assistant Professor at F-7/2 College, has been elected as the Press & Information Secretary.
The newly elected office bearers expressed their commitment to working tirelessly for the betterment of the teaching community.
They pledged to address the challenges faced by teachers and play an active role in resolving their issues. President-elect Muhammad Akram emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among teachers to achieve the association’s goals.
