On the directions of Director General, Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA), Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal, possession of land was successfully taken over from the affectees in Sector F-14/F-15 under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner/LAC FGEHA, Almas Sabih Saqib. Following this operation, possession of all major roads and service roads has now been completely secured by the Housing Authority.
The following key areas were fully cleared and vacated : East F-14 Markaz Road along with its adjoining areas. West F-14 Service Road and its adjoining areas. All roads and adjacent areas of F-14 Markaz .
Speaking on the occasion, DC/LAC FGEHA Mr. Almas Sabih Saqib stated that the clearance of these important routes would further accelerate development activities and facilitate the smooth execution of future infrastructure and construction works. He further added that all these measures are being carried out under the special directions and continuous supervision of Director General FGEHA, Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal.
It is pertinent to mention that, on the previous day, provisional offer letters were formally distributed to the affectees under the directions of Director General FGEHA Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal to ensure the provision of their legitimate rights. On this occasion, the concerned officers met with the affectees and assured them that the Housing Authority is making every possible effort for the timely resolution of their issues, promotion of transparency, and protection of their rights.
According to officials, due to the personal interest, effective strategy, and continuous monitoring of Director General FGEHA Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal, development activities in Sectors F-14 & F-15 have witnessed remarkable progress, while practical measures for resolving the long-standing issues of the affectees are also being implemented expeditiously.
The ongoing development activities, effective administrative measures, and continuous efforts by FGEHA for resolving the issues of the affectees are also being widely appreciated by the public. The affectees expressed their appreciation for the leadership, sincere efforts, and personal commitment of Director General Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal and expressed hope that the project would soon be completed and transformed into a modern and exemplary housing scheme equipped with state-of-the-art residential facilities.
