Gujranwala: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala has suspended a field officer after a video surfaced allegedly showing a ninth-grade student checking Secondary School Certificate (Matric) examination papers at a marking centre in Daska. According to reports, the incident occurred at the Government Christian High School Daska marking centre, where a video showed a minor boy, identified as Ayan, sitting among examiners and marking matriculation answer scripts. Sources claimed that Ayan himself is a student of Class IX, raising serious concerns over examination transparency and monitoring procedures. Taking immediate notice of the incident, the Chairperson of BISE Gujranwala suspended Field Officer Sohail Riaz and ordered a formal inquiry into the matter. The board said further investigations are underway to determine how the student gained access to the marking process and whether any examination rules or procedures were violated. ONLINE
