FM leaves for UAE to offer condolence with Al Nahyan’s family

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari left Karachi for the United Arab Emirates on Monday. Bilawal Bhutto is arriving in the United Arab Emirates to offer condolences to the Al-Nahyan family, the leadership and people of the UAE, on the passing away of President late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“In the demise of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, the UAE has lost a visionary and statesman, who profoundly transformed the country. Pakistan has also lost a sincere friend and partner who made invaluable contributions towards strengthening fraternal ties between the two countries,” the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will leave Dubai for the USA where he will attend the United Nations (UN) Food Security Conference in New York.
The sources said that Bilawal Bhutto’s visit to New York is not in connection with the US visit but attends the UN food security conference only.
Bilawal will also attend a multilateral meeting at the ministerial level during the UN Food Security Conference to raise the issue of water, food and energy crises facing Pakistan, sources said.
The sources said Foreign Minister Bilawal will visit China on May 21 where he will meet his Chinese counterpart and later will leave for Switzerland on May 23 to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters.
