Food authority recovered dead buffaloes, one arrested

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety Authority has recovered two dead buffaloes from a vehicle during an operation in the province. The animals were slaughtered after death which was later being supplied to Charsadda.
The operation was carried out on the instructions of Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety Authority Shah Rukh Ali Khan, said a handout.
According to the Food Safety Authority, the dead animals were destroyed at the dumping point, and strict legal action will be taken against those involved.

According to the Food Safety Authority, during the operation in Lower Kurram, vehicles supplying food items were blocked by blocking the road near Shasho Bridge police post.
During the operation, unhealthy chips prepared for children coming to Sadda Bazaar from Bannu were recovered, which were seized and heavy fines were imposed on the owners.
In Bannu, the Food Safety Authority team inspected Kasban Gate Bazaar. During the inspection, various general stores, wholesale dealers, bakers and samosas were inspected.
