Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq and International Footballer Muhammad Arshad Provide Equipment and Training to Islamia Model School Students

In a commendable effort to promote sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a special program under the leadership of renowned sports figure Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq has been launched to encourage football at the school level. As part of the program’s first phase, students of Islamia Model School, Lakkarabad, were provided with football equipment, and former national football team captain Muhammad Arshad conducted training sessions to teach the students the basics of the sport.
The event was graced by prominent figures, including Maulana Khan Bahadur, Principal Tawaf Khan Zazi, Assistant Director of the Planning and Development Department Faizur Rahman, international martial artist and school sports teacher Ubaidullah Khan, and Wushu Kung Fu player Ali Ahmed, alongside a large number of students and local community members.
During the modest yet meaningful ceremony, Muhammad Arshad distributed football equipment among the students and conducted a coaching session to teach them essential skills. Speaking on the occasion, Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq and Muhammad Arshad emphasized that promoting sports at the school level is vital for building a healthy society and nurturing talented players for the nation. They highlighted that the program aims to engage the youth in positive activities through football and inspire them to take up the sport.
Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq further elaborated that under this initiative, football equipment has been distributed to children from football academies in Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Swat, Dir, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, and other districts.
Participants appreciated the initiative, noting that such programs play a significant role in the physical and mental development of children and contribute to the growth of sports in the region. Malik Hidayat-ul-Haq also expressed his commitment to extending this program to other schools, ensuring more students gain access to sports opportunities.
The provision of football equipment was warmly welcomed by local residents, teachers, and students, who termed it a groundbreaking step in providing opportunities to schools in Peshawar’s outskirts. They expressed optimism that this initiative would produce skilled players capable of representing the country on international platforms and making the nation proud.
