Former ministers skip NAB summons

ISLAMABAD
Former Federal Ministers Faisal Vawda, Ali Zaidi, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Farogh Naseem failed to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) despite summons in the National Crime Agency’s (NCA) 190 million pounds scam case.
Ali Zaidi, Faisal Wada, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Farogh Naseem were to appear at the NAB Rawalpindi Office today. The former federal ministers were directed by NAB to appear before the joint investigation team of NAB and bring the records with them.
Former federal minister Ali Zaidi’s lawyer Abdul Qadeer appeared at the NAB office and submitted a written reply on behalf of his client. Former Federal Minister and MQM convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui did not appear in NAB due to political engagements in Karachi.
Former federal ministers Faisal Vawda and Farogh Naseem also did not appear in the NAB office in a personal capacity.
