Police have arrested four persons for allegedly desecrating graves in search of hidden treasure at Ratwali graveyard in the jurisdiction of Garhi Habibullah Police Station, officials said on Sunday. According to police sources, the accused were involved in digging and damaging graves at the cemetery located in Garhi Habibullah in an attempt to find buried treasure. The arrested suspects were identified as Sawab Khan, a resident of Hangu; Muhammad Manzoor, resident of Dalola; Muhammad Saqib, resident of Khushala; and Usman Ali, resident of Malikpura, Abbottabad.
Police registered a case against the accused at Garhi Habibullah Police Station and started further investigation. Officials said more details are expected to emerge during interrogation of the suspects.
