In a swift response to an incident of gunfire, police arrested four suspects involved in an attempted murder near Tehsil Park, Gorkhatri. The action was taken on the instructions of SP City Division Muhammad Atiq Shah.
SHO Kotwali Police Station Fazal Jan, under the supervision of DSP Hashtnagari Circle Imran Aslam Marwat, led the timely operation along with a team of police personnel. The suspects—identified as Zabihullah, Jamshed, Aziz, and Faisal—were taken into custody as they attempted to flee the scene.
According to police, a verbal dispute had erupted between the accused and the victims, Jawad and Abbas, over a phone conversation. The situation escalated when the suspects opened fire, leaving both victims injured.
Police reached the location immediately, apprehended the accused, and recovered a pistol from their possession. A case of attempted murder has been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is currently underway.
