death of suspect in FIA custody
ISLAMABAD: 4 FIA personnel have been suspended due to death of a suspect in Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) at Islamabad in the custody of FIA. Amir Hafiz, resident of Bahara Kahu was under investigation of AHTC. He was arrested by sub inspector Kashif Alvi. The authorities have started investigation to ascertain either he had died due to violence or he had committed suicide. The accused Amir Hafiz was arrested by Islamabad Police few days back in a case. FIA Islamabad zone is trying to keep the incident secret. They said the details could not be disclosed at present. The four FIA personnel who are allegedly involved in the incident have been suspended. Decision has been taken to conduct judicial inquiry. Online
