PESHAWAR: A road mishap on the Swabi Motorway claimed the lives of four people and left five others seriously injured on Sunday. According to police reports, a car carrying nine passengers was traveling from Peshawar to Islamabad when it lost control near the River Indus (Darya-e-Hund), near Swabi and crashed into side guardrail. Rescue officials confirmed that four people including two women and two men died on the spot. The remaining five passengers sustained severe injuries. All injured victims were provided immediate first aid and later shifted to Bacha Khan Hospital for further treatment. The bodies of the deceased were also transported to the hospital. Hund police are investigating the cause of the accident. APP
