ISLAMABAD: Unidentified assailants gunned down four members of a family after they barged into a house in Toba Tek Singh. The assassins, however, managed to flee from the spot. The incident took place in the Heera Colony of the city. Those who were killed were identified as Abdul Qadeer, a retired railway employee, his wife Farhat, four-year-old daughter Nain Tara and mother-in-law Naseem. Police said that the deceased received bullets in their heads, faces and chests. They further said that the bodies had been shifted to a hospital and investigations had begun. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took notice of the four murders in Toba Tek Singh and sought a reported the inspector general of police. He directed the police to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice. DNA
