ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayer of Islamabad capital police Head Constable Mehtab Abbasi was offered at Police Lines Headquarters, a police public relations officer said. He said that, CPO Headquarters, AIG Operations Farhat Abbas Kazmi, senior police officers and a large number of police officials offered the funeral prayer. The Late police officer was shifted to hospital due to a heart attack but he could not survive and was reunited with his real Creator. A smartly turned-out contingent of the police personnel presented a guard of honour. Police officer shouldered the coffin and later the body was sent to his respective native town Bara Kahu District Islamabad. The Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan condoled with the family of the deceased and assured the grieved family of full support from the department and his family would be taken care of.
