CM KP inaugurates various projects in Haripur

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, visited the Haripur district, where he inaugurated key developments at the Pak-Austria Fakhashole Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology. Alongside prominent figures including Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Umar Ayub Khan, and provincial ministers Meena Khan Afridi and Arshad Ayub, the Chief Minister marked significant progress in the region’s education and health sectors.
According to an official handout’ the new institution, built with a budget of Rs 283 million, aims to meet the growing demand for skilled health professionals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The school offers a wide range of academic programs, including 38 Bachelor’s, 18 Master’s, and 8 PhD courses in health education, along with diploma courses in 20 different fields.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a technology park at the Pak-Austria Institute, which has been established at a cost of Rs 992 million. The park is intended to foster innovation, promote research commercialization, and support small and medium enterprises. Gandapur highlighted its role in driving the development of a technology-based economy in the province.
During his speech, Chief Minister Gandapur announced a grant of Rs 30 crore for the School of Paramedical Sciences, underscoring the government’s commitment to strengthening the health sector.
In his address, Gandapur emphasized the joint commitment of the provincial government to improving the health sector and creating skilled manpower for the future. He hailed the Pak-Austria Institute as one of the country’s top educational institutions, noting that its students are not only excelling locally but also gaining international recognition.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s focus on health and education as priority sectors and affirmed that significant resources would be allocated towards the development of skilled human capital. He stressed that investing in the youth, especially in educational and professional opportunities, would yield long-term benefits for the province and the nation.
Gandapur also called on parents to support their children’s aspirations, particularly encouraging them to pursue careers aligned with their interests. He underscored the importance of hard work, stating that success comes only through dedication and effort. Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the provincial government’s special focus on providing opportunities for girls, urging families to invest in the education and empowerment of their daughters.
In closing, he highlighted the government’s role in ensuring equal opportunities for all, a vision rooted in the principles of the province’s founding leadership.
