The popularity of Prime Minister Netanyahu in Israel has suffered a big blow due to the Gaza war.
According to a recent survey by the Israel Democracy Institute, the ongoing war against Hamas has dealt a major blow to Netanyahu’s popularity in Israel, and he now has the support of only 15 percent of Israelis, while 85 percent oppose him.
According to the survey, only 15 percent of Israelis want Netanyahu to remain as prime minister after the end of the war against Hamas in Gaza, but many still support his strategy against Hamas.
It should be noted that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the crushing of Hamas after the October 7 attack, but the Israeli forces could not achieve any significant success in the nearly three-month-long counterattack.
