Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday assured full support to international boxer Rameez Khan during a meeting at the Governor House ahead of the boxer’s fight scheduled to be held in Turkey on Aug. 30.
Former President of PPP Traders Wing Sikandar Iqbal, Abu Bakar Farooqi, Haji Gul Zaman and Turab Gul accompanied the boxer during the meeting.
Rameez Khan briefed the Governor about preparations for his upcoming international bout in Turkey and shared details of the event.
The Governor expressed his best wishes for Rameez Khan and hoped he would bring laurels to Pakistan through an outstanding performance in the competition.
Kundi assured the boxer of his complete support and said talented athletes were the country’s valuable asset who deserved encouragement and opportunities to excel at the international level.
