Condemns Peshawar blast
PESHAWAR
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Gulam Ali on Monday condemned the suicide blast inside the mosque of Peshawar Police lines and assured that the preperators will surely be brought to justice, saying all out efforts would be made to restore peace and normilcy in the provincial capital.
Following the incident, Governor KP visited the Peshawar Police Lines and expressed grief over the death of people, mostly policemen.
Talking to media persons on this occasion, Haji Gulam Ali said “ I am deeply grieved on the loss of precious lives in the heinous attack inside the mosque in Peshawar today.
My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families. I strongly condemn this cowardly act of terrorism”.
He also assured that elements involved in the attack will surely be brought to justice.
Haji Gulam Ali reviewed the rescue operations and issued instructions to the teams to speed up the operations.
On this occasion, Commissioner Peshawar Division Riaz Mehsud briefed Governor KP about the relief and rescue operation after the incident.
Later on, Haji Gulam Ali paid a visit to the injured people in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
