PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has said if governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has to give political statements then he should contest election.
“Two days earlier governor SBP had said Pakistan rupee is becoming devalued and this has benefited overseas Pakistanis. If overseas Pakistanis have benefitted then what will happen with the remaining Pakisanis. If he has to give political statements then he should contest election. His family people had been contesting election earlier too”, he said this in National Assembly (NA) here Friday.
He went on to say governor SBO give such statements. But when some question is asked from him then he says it is secret. They are IMF people. They will leave Pakistan after rendering it bankrupt. But we have to live in this country. They should talk of Pakistan and not others.
PPP NaveedQamar pointed out the matter of lack of quorum. Speaker ordered for counting. Due to lack of quorum, the speaker NA adjourned the session for indefinite period.
