Govt adopts zero tolerance policy against corruption: Saif

Adviser to the Chief Minister for Information, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif here Friday said that KP Government has adopted a zero tolerance policy against corruption and strict action would be taken against corrupt and commission mafia.
Addressing a press conference along with Communication and Works Department’s Minister Shakeel Khan here at press club, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said that the concerned ministers and departments would be held responsible in case of any report about financial irregularity or corruption.
He urged people and journalists to identify corruption and financial irregularity so that strict action would be taken against the responsible officials.
Provincial Minister for Communication and Works Department Shakeel Khan said that corruption was unacceptable and Secretary C & W was removed as he was not satisfied with him.
“We are accountable to people and every minister would present his performance report to the PTI founder,” he said, adding the Federal Govt has been requested to transfer Chief Secretary KP and the decision in this regard was awaited.
Shakeel Khan said he recently met with the PTI founder in Adaila Jail who clearly instructed to pass his message of zero tolerance against corruption to all.
