Lahore: The carpet producers on Tuesday said the government can neither stabilize the economy nor provide relief to the people on the terms of International Monetary Fund (IMF) while increase in policy rate will augment difficulties for all kinds of industries. These views were expressed by chairperson Carpet Training Institute (CTI) Pervez Hanif, group leader Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMAEA) Abdul Latif Malik, Vice Chairman Ejaz-ur-Rehman, Senior Executive Member Riaz Ahmed and Saeed Khan in their joint statement.
