ISLAMABAD: Government has started consultations to change Ashtar Ausaf Attorney General (AG) of Pakistan and on the other hand offer for the post of AG has been extended to Irfan Qadir. Sources have told Online government has started deliberating over changing Ashtar Ausaf AG and resignation will be obtained from him on the pretext of illness. On the other side government has contacted aggression prone Irfan Qadir and extended him offer to become AG. However Irfan Qadir has agreed on accepting this offer conditionally. He said he has to deal with certain important works and later he will be ready to discharge this obligation. Sources revealed federal government wants to appoint Irfan Qadir to take up certain matters with superior judiciary in aggressive manner. It may be mentioned that Irfan Qadir had contested Punjab assembly deputy speaker case in connection with election of chief minister Punjab and he had taken tough stance before the court bench.
