Govt determined to accord priority, facilitate expats maximally: Raza

Syed Qamar Raza, Chairman BoG, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation has said that overseas Pakistanis are our asset and Government is quite determined to accord priority and facilitate them maximally.
We are taking steps to protect their rights at all cost. He reiterated his commitment to launch effective and tangible measures to deal with issues and problems of overseas Pakistanis. He was speaking at a function being organized by Pakistani community at London, UK to commemorate Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.
He also praised the patriotism and enthusiasm of overseas Pakistanis living in UK and all around the world which they have shown while celebrating the Independence Day. He said that he will ensure not only to serve overseas Pakistanis but also maintain harmony among them. He also advised Pakistani Missions abroad to extend all out help to those Pakistanis coming to them for swift redressal of their grievances.
He also suggested that expatriates must explore avenues to bring investment to Pakistan to create employment opportunities for Pakistani youth and to help boost our national economy. He said that we should play our role collectively to strengthen our institutions to make a proud and strong Pakistan. On the occasion, he also assured that Defence Day of Pakistan falling on 6th September, 2024 will also be observed with national zeal and vigour
