ISLAMABAD
Government has dropped electricity bombshell on the people by scaling up power tariff by Rs 5.95 per unit. A notification in this regard has been issued.
As per notification tariff has been increased under the head of Fuel Adjustment. The enhanced tariff will be applicable to the current months bills.
An additional financial burden of Rs 50 billion will be shifted to the consumers due to hike in power tariff.
