Says Govt giving unprecedented development package to FATA; CPEC to be a fate changer; law and order improved significantly
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says his government development and prosperity agenda will steer the country out of quagmire of problems.
He was talking to leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq here on Saturday.Online reported.
He held government has invested billions of rupees in the energy sector to end load shedding and provide cheap electricity to consumers.
Prime minister said government is making all out efforts to resolve power and gas shortages in the country.
He said the confidence of the international financial markets in Pakistan’s positive economic trajectory is a proof of successful policies for attaining long term economic stability.
Nawaz Sharif said increase in tax revenue through tax administration, increase in Foreign Exchange Reserves to over twenty billion dollars and reforms in energy sector have significantly contributed towards economic stability in the country.
He added that the improvement in law and order situation has been realized by the business community at domestic and international level.
The Prime Minister said the ultimate aim of the present government behind all these endeavors was to improve standard of living of the people.
About the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor the Prime Minister said completion of the projects would be a game changer for the whole region.
The leader of House appreciated the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister and said that his agenda of development will steer the country out of the problems it is facing.
Mean while Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday said that the government is making all out efforts to resolve power and gas shortages in the country. The government has invested billions in the energy sector and through completion of the ongoing energy projects we will not only eliminate load shedding but will also be able to provide cheap electricity to consumers, he said.

Nawaz Sharif said that the completion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would not only be a game changer for the country but it would also be a fate changer for the whole region. He added that the country’s law and order situation has significantly improved and its impact is already being realised by the business community both domestically and internationally.
The Prime Minister said the confidence of the international financial markets in Pakistan’s positive economic outlook was a proof of successful march on attaining long term economic stability. Increase in tax revenue through tax administration; increase in Foreign Exchange Reserves well over $20 billion; resolution of energy issues including electricity tariff rationalization and reforms in the Gas sector have significantly contributed towards economic stability in the country.
He said the ultimate aim of the present government behind all these endeavours was to improve standard of living of the people. Mean While Prime Minister (PM), Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that incumbent Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) government is giving unprecedented, historical package of political and economic development to Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA)
In a statement issued here on Friday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that people of FATA their self will decide about their future.
He said, “We will bring FATA at par with rest of the country constitutionally, socially and economically besides abolishing the discriminatory laws there.”
PM Nawaz further said, “Historically, FATA residents have rendered countless sacrifices for the country and I salute their spirit and love for the country.”
