LAHORE : Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said government will not give in to any pressure in and outside parliament.
Governor Punjab said this during his meeting with defence minister Pervez Khattak here on Friday.
He held Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has no personal agenda and on the other hand development and prosperity of the country is his mission.
He underlined opposition attitude on FATF laws is not in the national interest. They should set aside personal differences and give priority to national interests, he stressed.
He urged the opposition to play a positive role in and outside parliament. Rule of law and constitution figures atop the priorities of government.
He stated Indian plan against Pakistan in FATF will be thwarted.
Defence minister Pervez Khattak said government is striving to make country economically robust and prosperous. .We will steer the country from the morass of economic and other problems.
He underscored PM Imran Khan always pursues the politics of principles.
