IMF deal
ISLAMABAD
Government while complying with another condition of IMF has imposed additional Petroleum Development Levy Tax of RS 5 per litter on petrol. Now petroleum levy will be charged Rs 55 instead of Rs 50. The finance ministry has said development levy on high speed diesel has not been enhanced. Petroleum levy of Rs 50 per liter will be charged on high speed diesel. It is pertinent to mention here IMF has executed staff level agreement with Pakistan. Agreement of Standby arrangement of 3 billion dollars has been reached between Pakistan and IMF.
