Federal Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari has said that forcefully detaining citizens was a serious crime and government had completed its homework to legislate for recovery of missing persons.
Missing persons have been a serious issue in Pakistan and many citizens get vanished from scene due to unknown reasons.
Talking to media outside Islamabad High Court on Wednesday, Shireen Mazari said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his party’s stance was clear on missing persons even before he came into power. “We have completed legal framework related to missing persons and it just needs consent of senate now.” Mazari told reporters.

“Today, Islamabad High Court’s Chief justice said that people have been abducted forcefully since 2002. Chief Executives since then should have taken notice of the issue” She added.
