ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Monday said the government has decided to return hefty amount back to Government Hajj Scheme pilgrims, which have been saved from their packages. Talking to media, he said the amount has been saved from accommodation, catering, transport and other charges by ensuring judicious utilization of pilgrims’ money. He said he has directed the relevant department to calculate the exact saved amount, so that it could be refunded to the pilgrims as soon as possible. Responding to a question, he said the hefty amount has been saved despite appreciation in Dollar and Riyal price as comparing to rupee.
