Greenstar holds three-day workshop on Self-Employment of Women

Greenstar has launched a 3-day training workshop at Shelton’s Rezidor Peshawar, said a Greenstar press release on Thursday.
District Health Officers of selected districts, DoH management cadre officers, Greenstar regional staff and representatives of trans-continental pharma (Greenstar’s collaborative partner for improving the lives of vulnerable communities) attended the training workshop.
The workshop started with an orientation on Greenstar’s new project Self-Employment of Women (SEW) funded by KfW. The SEW project aims at empowering the qualified, unemployed female healthcare providers of the farthest rural areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by establishing one roomed and portable container clinics for them to provide services to the community and earn a living.
On the first day of the training workshop, Dr Syed Aziz Ur Rab Chief Executive Officer, Greenstar Social Marketing conducted an insightful session on time and stress management for the audience to understand how to make efficient use of time and also to manage stress in their routine work life in order to be productive.
On the 2nd day Greenstarconducted a session on hospital management of quality care standards to orient the audience on the importance of compliance to quality standards while managing a hospital.
At the end of the workshop the audience thanked Greenstar and Trans-Continental Pharma and also requested for similar trainings to be arranged in future.
