ISLAMABAD: Hajra Yamin is a dedicated and talented Pakistani actress who is currently garnering praise for her brilliant acting as Sumbul in Noor Jahan. Hajra Yamin’s other notable dramas include Teri Raza, Jalan, Muhabbat Chordi Maine, Jindo, Ehd E Wafa and Sevak. She debuted in the showbiz industry through the feature film Pinky Mem Sab which was a critically acclaimed project. Recently, Hajra Yamin made an appearance in Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show Gloss It. Talking about Saba Hameed, Hajra Yamin said, “I will be very honest, sometimes we think that this particular person is strict but there is a reason behind his/her strictness, maybe they fear others the most and experience the social anxiety, I am saying this in general because I also have social anxiety and people think that I am rude. Also, about Saba Hameed, I mean the talent that she has, the figure that she is, yes she was a bit intimidating and most of my work was with her but it was nice because Musadik was there and he guided everyone throughout”.
Talking about her performance, Hajra Yamin said, “On the set, Saba Hameed was amazing, I mean I used to forget my lines but I have never seen Saba forgetting her lines, she was so good and her on-screen performance is looking much more amplified. She performed it so well and that’s why it looked larger than life on the television, she is brilliant, her tonality was perfect, she didn’t even scream in a single scene”.
