Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly (PA) Hamza Shahbaz has made consultation with his father Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif and party senior leaders on different names for slot of care taker Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab.
Opposition leaders Hamza Shahbaz has not returned to Pakistan so far.
They also deliberated over the names given by PTI.
Sources said the name of two former judgesI are also under consideration by PML-N.
PML-N is likely to send names to governor Punjab today.
Sources party senior leaders have given opinion that the matter regarding care taker chief minister be let go to the election commission because Imran Khan does not want to let go the matter to election commission.
The sources disclosed PML-N can show flexibility on the name of Nasir Khosa given by PTI.
PTI has divided into two parts on the name of Nasir Saeed Khosa.
Some people are of the opinion that Nasir Khosa is very close to Sharif family. He has remained principal secretary of Nawaz Sharif. Nasir Khosa name was presented as care taker chief minister in 2018.Shahbaz Sharif had agreed over name of Nasir Khoss in 2018.
Today (Tuesday) is last date for sending the name of care taker chief minister to governor Punjab and making consultation . If they don’t agree on any name then the matter will be referred to Punjab Assembly committee.
