LARKANA: There was an altercation between the police head constable and the head maharrir while on duty in Larkana. As a result of the firing, the head muharrir was killed. DIG Larkana and SS Larkana took notice. According to the police, the incident took place in Jalbani Street in the limits of Sachal Police Station where Head Constable Azhar Ali Kalhoro shot and killed police head muharrir Mumtaz Ali Bhutto. While Head Constable Azhar Ali Kalhoro has been arrested and transferred to Sachal police station along with official weapons. The police further said that Head muharrir Mumtaz Ali Bhutto and Azhar Ali Kalhoro were posted on security duty at the Sindh Solid Waste Management Office. The reasons for the dispute are being investigated. On the other hand, DIG Larkana Nasir Aftab took notice of the incident and asked for a report from SS Larkana and issued action orders to them.
