PESHAWAR
Hearing of violation of election code of conduct against KP Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi has been adjourned till January 13 in Election Commission (EC). The case against KP CM and Shehr Naz Omar Ayub came up for hearing before EC. A five members bench of EC presided over by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja heard the case.
Ali Bukhari counsel for KP CM Sohail Afridi while filing written reply also presented the application regarding non maintainability of the case.
The EC authorities said the application on non maintainability of the case does not bear the signatures of CM KP
The EC directed Ali Bukhari to file the petition again.
The CEC ordered power of attorney be too filed before next hearing.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till January 13.
