ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has historically been one of the largest country that participate and this year there were an increase of over 20% new exhibitors from Pakistan gave total of 260 exhibitors which ranked just behind China, India and Turkey. This year more than 260 exhibitors represented Pakistan. These manufacturers rely on Heimtextil as an attractive platform for export business and as a trendsetting launch event where they presented their new season products at the start of the year. Mr. Zahid Hussain Consul General of Pakistan in Frankfurt visited the Pakistan pavilion and said the relationship between Pakistan and Germany is 71 years old and both countries have taken steps to facilitate trade. Ms. Amna Naeem Trade & Investment Counselor visited Heimtextil and said it was the world’s biggest exhibition of home textile. It has been an originated big participation from Pakistan. She said there were 59 companies from TDAP organized by commercial section consulate general of Pakistan Frankfurt and 200 direct exhibitors.
