PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said holding only Imran Khan responsible for inflation is injustice as certain internal and external elements are too responsible for economic crisis.
He said this in a statement issued here Tuesday.
He cautioned that all prices of all the commodities are being raised by targeting agriculture sector. The effects of artificial inflation directly hit common man.
He held Pakistan is an agriculture country and harm is being caused to entire country by targeting the agriculture sector. Take the example of tomato. Farmer sells tomato to commission agent at the rate of Rs 25 per kilogram. On the other hand this tomato is sold to the people at the rate of Rs 150 per kilogram in the market after passing through different channel. The farmer has to receive blow in this regard. Even then it is said that only Imran Khan is responsible for the heavy loss caused to farming community. It is injustice.
Due to shortage of fertilizer a new storm of inflation has raised its head, he pointed out. The hoarders are responsible for this artificial inflation.
He urged that all the members of assembly should identify the hoarders in their respective areas and get release fertilizer from them.
