WASHINGTON
Yemen’s Houthi rebels shot down an American drone flying over the Yemeni maritime border.
US also confirmed that the drone was destroyed.
According to a foreign news agency, in their statement, the Houthi rebels said that our air defense has destroyed an American drone flying to help Israel in Yemen’s maritime borders.
The statement further said that such US activities cannot stop us from taking action against Israel’s ongoing aggression in Palestine.
On the other hand, American officials have confirmed that the American MQ9 drone has been targeted in the international airspace near Yemen, but the name of the person responsible for the attack has not been revealed by the United States.
