ISLAMABAD: The President of State had returned the services of his principal secretary Waqar Ahmed yesterday and demanded that Humaira Ahmed be appointed as Secretary. However Humaira Ahmed has refused to serve as Principal Secretary of President of Pakistan. Yesterday, President Arif Alvi had written letter to Prime Minister (PM) Principal Secretary Syed Tauqeer Hussain Shah and demanding his Principal Secretary Waqar Ahmed be removed and Humaira Ahmed be made Secretary. President said that he no longer requires the services of Waqar Ahmed and these services are immediately handed over to Establishment Division. It was announced on Twitter by President that Waqar Ahmed, the Secretary of President Arif Alvi has been relieved of from his post. On the other hand, officer of 22 grades, Humaira Ahmed has refused to serve as Principal Secretary to President of Pakistan. Humaira Ahmed is currently working as Secretary of Narcotics Division.
