Police claimed to have resolved the mystery murder of a female sub-divisional assistant education officer of Merikhel, as husband turned out to be her killer.
It was reported that the husband of the slain schoolteacher posted as education office who had plotted and stabbed her wife to death over some domestic disputes.
The initial investigation said that the killer identified as Najeeb resident of Domail Bannu has been arrested after acting on tip-off. Police officials said the arrested person was shifted to unidentified location for further investigation.
As per details, the slain schoolteacher identified as Rizwana was the resident of district Bannu and posted as assistant education officer at Landi Kotal.
District police told media that the dead body of the slain schoolteacher has shifted to district headquarters hospital for autopsy.
It was learnt the schoolteacher, a mother four kids,was hailing from Bannu and settled with her husband at landi Kotal for duty.
