I respect ‘lower courts’, apex court judges: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and Former prime minister Imran Khan on Tuesday while addressing a power show in Peshawar in which he criticized Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led coalition government for pushing the country’s people in a historic inflation and failed economic policies.
Addressing a public rally at Peshawar’s ring road, the former prime minister alleged that Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardar and Maulana Fazalur Rehman wanted to create tension between PTI and state institutions.
“I respect lower courts as being a leader I have fought for an independent judiciary and would never allow my party workers to criticize the respected judges of my country,” he added.
He said the incumbent ‘imported government’ tried its level best to find corruption against me and manipulate for political gains but they failed.
Imran Khan said that all state institutions were respectful to me and my party workers as they (institutions) play a key role in national development and prosperity, adding that the days of the coalition government were numbered.
I have decided, he said, to never accept the slavery and would not bow down before the “looter”, he added and said that he would pay visits to all major cities of the country to brace people up for “ Haqiqi-Azadi”.
The PTI chairman said that all major political parties have joined hands against PTI but they are still running from holding elections, adding that only a transparent general election could liberate the country from the clutches of poverty and high inflation.
Khan went on to alleged that PPP and PML-N have established thier social media cells to run a malicious against PTI senior leadership, adding my remarks would always be constructive and would never made an attempt to degrade country institutions.
PTI chairman in its power show in Peshawar again shared past videos of leaders belonged to incumbent government which contained criticisms on state institutions, especially on apex courts former judges.
Referring his comments against a judge of the lower court, IK said that my intention was not to disrespect the judge but what happened to Shahbaz Gill was unacceptable.
Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan, PTI leaders including former NA Speaker Asad Qaiser, Pervez Khattak, Shah Farman and others were also present on the occasion and spoke to people.
