Leader of opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Ibadullah Khan has termed the protest call of the provincial government for the coming Sunday a drama and asked it for its immediate withdrawal.
In reaction to the protest call of the provincial government here on Wednesday, he said that instead of providing relief to the people, Pakistan Tehrik-Insaf (PTI) has always indulged in negative politics.
He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is already in the grip of terrorism and price hike and beside fundamental rights and essential daily used items, its people are struggling for two times meal.
In such a situation, he said the provincial government should come to the rescue of the people and concentrate on provision of immediate relief to them.
He said that the province could not afford further provocation, sit-ins and processions. But, it is a matter of concern that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur while giving call for protest is proving his low level of mentality.
The leader of opposition in KP Assembly said that being a chief executive of the province, he should maintain peace in it and nor to take the people out on roads.
He demanded of the provincial government to withdraw its call for protest in the larger interest of the people with immediate effect. He said that the process of election has been completed. Therefore, he said they should have to join hands to take solid measures for the resolution of long standing problems of the people and bring improvement in their lives.
