ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, in coordination with the Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU) of Sawan Zone, have solved a blind murder case within hours and arrested the killers following the abduction and murder of a private security guard. An official told media on Monday that police teams used modern technology and human intelligence to trace and arrest the suspects involved in the killing of Sarfraz, who was abducted and later murdered. DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq said that the prime accused, Juma Khan, in collusion with his associate Waqar, killed the victim due to personal enmity. After committing the murder, the suspects concealed the body by dumping it inside a concrete pipe in a drain to mislead investigators. The DIG said that Sarfraz was employed as a private security guard and his disappearance had raised serious concern, prompting immediate action by police. DNA
