Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has inquired what action has been taken so far by the administration on the petitions filed against protest dharnas during the PTI long march.

The court remarked if the court has to tell institutions that how will the institutions work then what is use of making the institutions.

These remarks were given by Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench during the hearing of three separate petitions already filed against protest dharnas during PTI Long March Tuesday.
Advocate Faisal Chaudhry counsel for Imran Khan and Asad Umar appeared in the court. Commissioner Rawalpindi, Deputy commissioner, CPO and joint director of IB appeared from administration side.

The court inquired administration has taken what action on the petitions filed against dharnas.

CPO Rawalpindi told the court cases were registered against 45 persons for blocking the roads by protesters.

The court directed the law officer to review the clauses of the cases.
Law officer took the plea the report will be filed after reviewing the clauses of the cases.

IB Joint director took the plea before the court only court can see the IB report

The court remarked it will do review IB report.

The counsel for Imran Khan and Asad Umar told the court replies from Imran Khan and Asad Umar will be filed within a week.

The court while summoning all the respondents on February 07 adjourned the hearing of the case till February 07.
