Lahore High Court (LHC) has warned if reservations are not removed then Nasir Bagh project will be stopped. Petitions regarding smog eradication came up for hearing before Justice Shahid Karim of LHC.
Member judicial commission, Azhar Siddique advocate, Mian Irfan Akram and others appeared in the court.
Justice Shahid Karim remarked Orange line has been made. Roda is going to be built. It is not known what will happen. My decisions are there. Development can be made. Several historical sites including Nasir Bagh are identification of Lahore.

DG LDA should satisfy construction experts about Nasir Bagh project.
Construction expert Raza Ali Dada told the court this project is not suitable in place of Nasir Bagh.
The court directed DG LDA to hold meeting with them in respect of these projects.
On being inquired by the court , it was told there are 804 small and large parks in Lahore.
Justice Shahid Karim issued orders to PHA to eradicate encroachments in all parks remarking eliminating trees and greenery is not correct in any way.
During the hearing of the case Justice Shahid Karim ordered to install water treatment plants in all sugar mills.
Member judicial council told the court environment department has made amendment in its rules under which NOC is not needed in respect of some projects including Nasir Bagh.
The court remarked several historical sites including Nasir Bagh have their significance. Any institution should keep in view this importance before launching project. DG LDA should hold meeting with experts and member judicial council. If reservations are not removed then Nasir Bagh Project will have to be stopped under compulsion.
During the hearing of the case the court remarked PHA should make plantation of the trees as per law. The parks which are not in proper condition in Lahore be restored. The encroachments be removed from the parks where they are raised and parks be restored so that the children could play therein.
The court while seeking report from different institutions adjourned the hearing of the case.
