Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has said we will make Pakistan economic power.
He said this while addressing a ceremony marking the 983rd annual Ghusl Mubarak of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (Data Ganj Bakhsh) and later talking to meida men.
Dar said Dar said Pakistan’s achievements as a nuclear power and its progress in missile technology reflected the country’s capabilities .
Now time has come Pakistan should be made a robust economic power.
Pace of economic development of Pakistan in 2017 was stunning for the world. It had reached 24th number in gradation of global economies. But later it was downgraded to 47th number due to economic difficulties.
As per media report, he said Pakistan played role of mediator in US-Iran war. Shahbaz Sharif and Syed Asim Munir were its team captain. Field Marshall did back door diplomacy. Now Pakistani passport is respected all over the world.
US and Iran sat on negotiating table after 47 years. Our job was to extend facilitation between two countries. The agreement has been signed. It has been kept in National Assembly record. Shahbaz Sharif too signed US-Iran agreement.
We are peace loving country and we abide by UN international charter. We respect the sovereignty of smallest as well as the biggest country. If some one made the mistake of casting evil looks on Pakistan, we will gouge their eyes.
He held when Iran was attacked on February 28 we condemned it forthwith.
No other country condemned US-Israel attack.
He remarked Pakistan about which it was said it had become isolated diplomatically , now world has come to know that we are peace loving country
We were called terrorist country and now our recognition as peace loving country has come to fore.
Speaking about budget he said relief has been given to the salaried class and traders. What government we had inherited its condition was worse. We achieved success in correcting disastrous situation.
