IG-KP gives cash prizes to medal-winning police ASI

Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (IGP-KP) Moazzam Jah Ansari on Tuesday awarded cash prize and certificate of appreciation to Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ajaz Khan for winning a medal in ‘Amateur’ Mr Olympia tournament.
Amateur Mr Olympia tournament was held on 13-14 August 2022 in Islamabad in which more than 300 players from 80 countries participated.
Addressing the ceremony, the IGP said that ASI Ijaz Khan has shined the name of KP and country in the tournament and the police department appreciates his courage and hard work.
“The policemen are a valuable asset of the country, the nation and the force and their services will be valued everywhere and at every forum,” he added.
IG-KP said that all opportunities will be provided to police and those related to sports to make full use of their abilities to increase the prestige of the country and nation.
Moazzam Jah Ansari said that the promotion of sports was essential for the formation of a healthy society, adding that the society where sports activities were carried out remained calm and tolerant.
With the help of sports we can eradicate crimes from society and the police department has allocated a chunk of resources for the purpose, he added.
He added that the police department of the province has given birth to athletes who have made the country and nation famous by their excellent performance in various sports.
IGP also appreciated the efforts of KP sports administrators who are rendering valuable services for the promotion of sports despite limited resources and difficulties.
He congratulated ASI Ijaz Khan for winning a medal in the Amateur Masters Olympia tournament and presented him with a cash prize and a commemorative shield.
It should be noted that Ejaz Ahmed has been a champion in bodybuilding three times and won the title of Mr South Asia.
ASI Ijaz has also won the All Pakistan and Mr. Pakistan tournaments.
