Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akhtar Hayat Khan on Thursday inaugurated newly constructed Yadgar-e-Shahda Police in Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines.
CCPO Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar, SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi. , SSP Investigation Ashfaq Ahmed, SP Headquarters Rahim Hussain and other police officers were also present.
The chief guest was welcomed by the police officers on reaching Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, while a police force surrounded the chief guest. Saluting, the IGP offered flowers on the memorial of police martyrs, while also planted a sapling in the memory of the police martyrs.
Akhtar Hayat Khan said that KP police is an exemplary and brave force, peace and order is established thanks to martyrs and Ghazis, KP Police always played key role in the war against terrorism.
The blood of the martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain and that the world always remembers those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country and nation.
Akhtar Hayat Khan has said that the greatest honor of our martyrs is that from the IG to the soldier, they sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country, the nation and the dear people.
And there is no police station in which the blood of our zealous martyrs has not been shed, in fact there are martyrs alive who were martyred in the way of Allah.
